WHAT: Cape to Cape MTB is a 4-day mountain bike race for solo riders and teams
WHERE: Margaret River region
WHEN: Thursday October 20 to Sunday October 23

The event is a challenge to riders of all levels, both competitive and recreational.

The stages have been set as follows:
Stage 1 Thursday 20 October Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse to Hamelin Bay (Approx 40km)
Stage 2 Friday 21 October Hamelin Bay to Prevelly / Margaret River (Approx 60km)
Stage 3 Saturday 22 October Margaret River Special Stage (Approx 50km)
Stage 4 Sunday 23 October Margaret River to Dunsborough (Approx 60km)

Registrations are now open for riders and can be completed through the MTB site.

MARGARET RIVER VINTAGE STOMP

WHAT: Vintage Stomp celebrates the most important time of the year in Margaret River – the grape harvest. This year’s theme – Germany
WHERE: Voyager Estate, Stevens Road Margaret River
WHEN: 15 May gates open 10.30am
HOW MUCH: $10 adults, $5 children or $25 for a family pass available at the gate on the day.
Voyager Estate will be a buzz of activity, commencing with a Grand Parade and the blessing of the harvest led by the God of Wine himself, Bacchus.
It is a feast of food and wine, arts and craft, circus artists, ‘living’ sculptures, a grape-stomping competition and barrel race.
The Western Derby (Eagles vs Dockers) will play on the big screen in the beer tent.
Note the Chauffeur Bus will run a shuttle service – $6 return- pay on bus. Pickups 11am and 1.15pm Town Bus bay. Returns depart 2.25, 4pm and 5.30 (after the footy).
